What is silkscreen printing?

Silkscreen printing (also called serigraphy or silk-screening) is a method of printing onto a surface using sophisticated techniques where a mesh screen with a stencil is mounted to the surface and the design is added by rubbing, rolling, or spraying paint or ink in the stencilled area.

Why use silkscreen printing?

One of the major benefits of using silkscreen printing is that it produces more vibrant colours than most digital printing methods.

Another reason to use silkscreen printing is that it can print onto a wider range of materials than digital printing methods including thicker heavier materials.
